It acts strictly as you: a connection is tied to one person in one company and can only reach what that person can. A Member still sees only their own tasks, delaying or skipping still records a reason in the audit trail, and you can revoke a connection instantly. Is it free, and for how long?
Tasks is free right now, during our early access. It is not a locked-down trial: you get up to 5 team members per company and unlimited tasks. We may introduce paid tiers as the product grows, so setting your firm up now lets you lock in the current free plan.
Is there a limit on the free plan?
The free plan covers up to 5 team members per company and unlimited tasks, projects, comments, checklist items and recurring schedules, with the full activity trail. File attachments and email reminders are premium features; free keeps in-app notifications and a weekly email summary.
Can I attach files to a task?
File attachments are a premium feature: up to 10MB per file and 250MB per company. Need more? Email admin@reconscribe.com and we will raise your limit. If you move off premium, your existing files stay downloadable for 60 days.
Can a junior see only their own tasks?
Yes. Mark a teammate as a Tasks Member and they see only tasks assigned to them and create only self-assigned tasks. A Manager (or partner) sees everything and assigns work. This is enforced in both the app and the database, so it holds even against the raw API.
Does it handle recurring GST and TDS deadlines?
Yes. Tasks can recur monthly, quarterly or yearly on a set day, be tagged to a period (a month, a quarter, or a financial year), and send reminders before and after the due date by email and Telegram.
How is this different from a generic to-do app?

Do I need to install anything?

Yes. Tasks ships an MCP connector, so you can add your workspace to Claude and then ask for things in plain English: what is overdue, add a recurring GSTR-1 task for the 11th, assign the TDS return to a colleague. Create the connection under Settings, Tasks, Claude / MCP access. It is optional and off until you create a token.
Is the Claude connection safe to give an AI assistant?
It acts as you and nothing more. The connection token is tied to one person in one company, so it can only see and change what you already can, and a teammate marked as a Member still only reaches their own tasks. Delaying or skipping still demands a reason that is written to the audit trail, so an assistant cannot quietly move a deadline. You can revoke a connection at any time, and revoking it takes effect immediately.
